Here’s something else which doesn’t happen at the Trash
Palace in January.
Knuckling down to anything at all, never mind the chore list,
is not a major consideration in January.
I like to ease into the decluttering and other maintenance tasks during
the first month of the year. Come December there will be very long chore lists and
the pressure will be on.
Thus the year starts at a slow pace; it’s like sitting in a
comfy chair and taking in the view of the coming year's landscape through a window. An overview; considering my
options, most certainly not a time for making hasty or rash decisions.
There will be plenty of time later on for making decisions, rash
or otherwise.
‘Why do today what you can put off till tomorrow?’ is my motto for January.
